Sophie's First Birthday

Our little Sophie Bear turns one on Thursday March 27Th and it still feels like I had her yesterday.I think it is so weird that before I had Sophie I could not imagine having two kids, but now I cannot imagine my life without my little Boo Boo!! From the beginning she has been our little monster because for the first couple of months she would keep Tom and I up until 6 in the morning. Yup she was making us nuts with her constant crying. It was nice to have a pediatrician that cared and figured out what was wrong with her. After we had her little tummy under control she blossomed into the sweetest little girl. Sophie has also surprised us from the beginning like when she rolled off the bed the day before her blessing when she was two months old. I remember looking at the doctor and seriously saying how does a two month old baby roll off the bed from the middle of the bed? She laughed!! Ha ha for us that since that day Sophie has been determined to get where she wants to go. Unfortunately for us Sophie never stayed in one place for long and has mastered how to get into everything and anything that is on the floor or within reach. I have been on my toes for almost a year now. Sophie is such a happy little girl she loves to entertain herself by puttering around the house doing her own little thing and occasionally saying hi to me. She has serious tantrums if things don't go Sophie's way and I see her get mad at her toys when they don't work properly.Sophie loves anything to eat other than baby food and mac n cheese. I think her favorite meal that I make is Aunt Celeste's taco soup, Sophie eats more than Bree.Sophie loves kisses and she will walk around and pucker her lips for anyone it's really cute. Sophie loves to put everything in her mouth including wood chips from the playground and any rock that she finds outside. Right now she acts like she can talk especially when she gets mad at Bree she will get in Bree's face and yell at her and then she usually follows with a nice blow to Bree's head. In the morning Sophie will say da da and then when he doesn't come it turns into mum mum. She also enjoys walking around Costco pointing to things saying "this" "this" it's pretty cute. Anyways sorry for the huge post but I could go on and on about this little chick like any mom could about their kids. Sophie is so full of life and Tom and I are so grateful for her and all that she has added to our family!! I created this slide show for her for her birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOO BOO!!

St. George Fun

So I have been a slacker on posting some pictures of our trip two weeks ago to St. George where it was nice and sunny!! Tom and I decided Friday morning that we needed to get away from the cold so we just left and seriously had a blast. Tom was able to eat at his favorite place Jack in the Box which is always yummy and Bree of course was just excited that she was able to stay in the Hotel room and go swimming whenever she wanted to. I took the girls and Tom to Brigham Young's house which was interesting, and I don't think Bree understood it at all. It was also really windy one day so we bought a kite at Costco and taught Bree how to fly a kite. The funny thing is that Tom and I are making fun of each other because neither of us were any good at flying the kite but when Tom finally let Bree try she did amazing. She was better than both of us it was so funny!! There were a bunch of homeless men sitting around watching us and I am sure that we were great entertainment for a couple of hours especially when Bree kicked our butts in the end! On Monday we rented a Rhino and had so much fun after I figured out how to block the wind from hitting poor little Sophie's face. The girls has alot of fun playing with the rocks and sand and Tom had the most fun driving us up really steep scary hills while the girls slept.Bree was also able to adopt a bear named Olivia and she thought that was great. So here are a couple of the millions of pictures that I took in St. George..
