Organic Guinea Pig

I have been wanting to buy Organic products for me and my girls since they(Media) started to tell us what crap they were putting in our personal care products. I think ever since the lead in the toys and dinnerware I have been really worried about everything. Well organic stuff is expensive right. Well I have learned that you don't have to buy organic when it comes to fruits with skins that you peel off, and I know that bugs really are not interested in broccoli, onions, asparagus, and garlic so that's good. If I buy these things at normal prices then I can buy the fruits and veggies organic that the bugs like. Like so many others I have changed all of our bread to wheat but not only wheat but the stuff that has no preservatives and high fructose corn syrup and so on.

So many of you think I am crazy and that is fine (I think I am a little too!)but I just want to make sure that my children are healthy and what the heck I might as well try to be healthy while I am at it. So now to the point of being a guinea pig. I finally found this company in Utah that does only organic products and they educate you on all the chemicals and what they do to you. Some things that I learned that made me mad is that these companies put stuff in our no tears products that actually numbs the babies eye so that they can't feel the sting. Oh but don't worry the product is still doing damage and irritating their eyes which is so wrong and sad. I can remember countless times boating and putting sunscreen on Sophie and Bree and I would notice that their eyes looked irritated but they seemed fine. Well now I know why. These companies use the same chemicles in our products that the airports use to De-ice planes in the winter. Can't be good. So I ordered some stuff as you can see and I am going to try it out and let you all know if it is worth the switch. Also if you think you want to learn more about this you can go to this website and educate yourself on this. go to www.bubbleandbee.com and you can also find this stuff at some health food stores around this area as well.

Things I am worried about:

Deodorant hopefully works he he! If I smell I am sorry:)

The Shampoo is rinsed out with apple cider vinegar (Stinky right)

Have to be careful now when I wash Bree and Sophie's hair it will sting.

Can't try the bug spray yet but it smells good.

Freedom of Choice Act

So if you really know me you would know that I really don't get involved with politics, I hate talking to people about politics, I hate hearing people talk about politics so this is stretch for me to actually say anything about politics at all. This is one of the only subjects where my blood starts to boil and I just cannot help but get mad that there are things that are so out of my control. If you feel the same way as me about this then I totally understand if you stop reading but my mom sent me this email and seriously you never know if this crap is true (I am positive that this one is). Anyways soon to be President Obama said that the first thing that he is going to do is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. What the heck is that right? Well I think that sounds good I like to make my own choices and so on. Well this is about Abortion and this is just so sad that this could happen. Here is some of the things that this act will do....

As most of you know, last night Obama made a public announcement
that he is going to sign the Freedom Of Choice Act, which will allow all
types of abortions including partial birth abortions, also allowing
babies who are born alive due to botched up late term abortions, to be
set aside without any medical care or nourishment and left to die (most
of these babies have no medical problems and most of the ones that do,
have things like cleft palates, club feet, things that are correctable,
still they are murdered in the most cruel and inhuman way.
They feel
everything that is happening to them. There is more mercy for dogs that
are put to sleep) This Bill also will make it mandatory for doctors and
nurses to perform this murderous act even if they do not want to do so.
This act also allows under age teens to have an abortion, even partial
birth abortions, without parental consent.

Catholic Bishops have pleaded with Obama not to go ahead with this
horrible murder of innocent babies. They have also told Obama that if he
persists in signing this Bill which would require even Catholic
Hospitals to perform these acts of murder, they will have no choice but
to close all Catholic Hospitals. Please let us join with these
courageous Bishops who will go to any length to change Obama's mind.
Please take a minute to sign this statement and let our voices be heard.

This is a great, informative website. You can click on the video of
Obama's speech to the Planned Parenthood group where he promised that
the first thing he would do if elected President would be to sign the
Freedom Of Choice Act. He isn't even in the White House yet and he made
a statement last night that he will go forward with his plans to sign
this outrageous bill. He still can change his mind because the Bill
cannot be signed until he is actually the President.

Please let your family and friends know about this Bill and ask them
to also sign this petition. Even those who voted for Obama would not
want him to sign this Bill. May God have mercy on our country for the
sake of the millions who would never agree with this Bill if they fully
understood all that it encompasses. Please click on the web site below.
It will take less than a minute of your time, doesn't cost anything and
God will bless you for standing up for Him and His teachings.

nothing"

I just have a hard time knowing that this stuff actually happens and there are so many people out there that would love these babies. And to allow children (12-17) year olds to make such a huge mistake without their parents knowing is wrong. Babies are so innocent and it just makes me sad that politics controls this issue. Also think if you were a doctor or a nurse and you had to by law perform a partial birth abortion. It is wrong! This is about as far as my politics will ever go and I just thought some of you may not know about this. Also sorry if this offends anyone

Nothing Exciting

Around our house things have been really nice and slow and it has been so refreshing to get back to normal routine. That means I have an empty camera and nothing to really blog about, so here are some pictures that I took up at my grandparents house in Midway that I finally edited and I thought some of them turned out really nice!

Holiday Roundup

December is a crazy month. Why?

Tom's Birthday Dec. 10th
Celeste Birthday Dec. 13th
Anniversary Dec. 19th
Dylans Birthday Dec.22
Christmas Eve Dec. 24th
Christmas Dec. 25th

And then add in all the other parties and festivities with all the shopping and it adds up to be a crazy time of year! We had so much fun this year and it all started with Bree's Christmas dance recital. Bree was so excited to dance in front of all the people and she was so excited that the family would come just to watch her. Thanks to all the family who came you made her night amazing. Bree also thinks that Papa took her out to pizza that night but really my dad took Tom out for his Birthday. Bree then had her preschool performance where she sang songs and dressed up as an angel in the nativity.

Thanks to Tom's aunt Chris and my mom for watching the girls so that we could celebrate Tom's birthday and our 6 year Anniversary by going to movies at the theatre.

Bree was really excited to see Santa this year and she loves Ron and Lorri's slide show party because she gets to sit on Santa's lap. Tom and I were idiots and forgot our camera duh!! Sophie just sat on Santa's lap to get the candy cane and really she just sat there and looked into space. We were lucky enough to see Santa a second time on Christmas Eve and Bree was so excited that Santa brought her a tea set.

The girls loved Christmas morning and Sophie could not figure out why all these new toys were just sitting there. We spent the morning with Tom's dad and brothers and then spent the night with my family where my sister in law Stacey made the best dinner we all felt like we had just eaten at the most amazing restaurant. Lets just say that when Tom and I bring up that dinner our mouths water.

Then we got sick and I swear it always happens on Christmas but thats ok because we have to stay home and play with all our new toys. Some of our new toys include Guitar Hero World Tour (the songs are so much better, and Bree can play), Tom replaced my broken ipod with a nice new shiny purple one, and Tom gets to be a race car driver for a day. Bree has her favorite Barbie laptop and Sophie has a new baby and stroller.

For New Years we played loads of games and yes Amanda was able to play nicely with all her family and friends and did not call Drew a a** hole! he he.
