Happy Birthday to my Man

Oh Tom will laugh at that title and look at me like I am weird... and I will look back and tell him that is why you love me right!

It is this special guys Birthday today and it is sad and true that this is his last year of his twenties. What are we going to do you ask? Well if you know Tom then you know that he loves to do everything and anything that is fun, so I am sure that our year will be full of Tom adventures (new baby might hinder a little fun but I will send Tom to do fun alone if I have to!) It is crazy for me to try and wrap my head around the fact that I have known Tom since I was 15 years old. I mean wow that is a crazy long time to love someone, yet I don't feel like it has been a long time I feel like it has been an amazing great time. We have gone through so much together, ups, downs and everything in between. You should never be prego and write a Birthday letter to your husband because then you cry, and I don't cry about stuff like this. Tom is a great dad he truly is so amazing and I am grateful that my children have him as there dad. He does all those amazing things that dad's do and then he takes it even further and does extraordinary things to make us all happy. He is my best friend and I am so happy that when he comes upstairs after work he lets me unload my entire day of funny stories and gossip and complaining and he just listens. Sometimes I will even finish and look at him and beg him to tell me every detail of his day so that I feel even. Thanks for loving me even though I make you and the kids sanitize your hands after every stop we make. Thanks for even doing the steering wheel too because you know I don't want to ask in fear that you will get mad at me cause I am a little crazy. Thanks for singing that song from Madagascar every time I look at myself and say "I am Huge" it makes me feel better and laugh. The girls and I hope you have a wonderful day and know how much we love ya!! Here is the video for whoever has not seen the movie and don't have a clue what I am talking about. This will help explain

Tom's Exciting Weekend

Tom fullfilled one of his dreams a couple of weekends ago by attending a 49ers game. Tom has loved the 49ers his whole life so this was a big deal to him. It started as a boy trip but then turned into a trip for Tom and I because I had never been to San Francisco and I thought it would be a fun trip before we have the baby. After getting Midwife permission to fly blah blah we find out at my ultrasound that flying is not an option for me. Luckily the airline refunded our ticket for me but now Tom had to find a buddy to go with him. So he took his dad and I think they had a great time, although I think Tom wore his dad out! He also met up with our good friends KC and Roach down there at the game. I tried to get him to blog about it himself because obviously it was his trip and he said I only blog on Mothers day ha ha!! So I will try to do my best but things could be wrong so no judging Tom if you won't do it yourself!!

Golden Gate Bridge

This is where Tom was born.

This is Tom's house when he lived in San Jose.

Tom and his dad rented this beauty and had so much fun driving it around. I can only imagine:)

This is cool! Tom said he was mad at his dad because he could not take the picture without it being blurry!

Tom showed me this picture and I instantly thought oh so you like these girls huh!

Another blurry one by Tom's dad, but I thought it was still worth posting.

Tom so beyond excited to be at the 49ers game. Tom said they had awesome seats and he walked around the stadium 100 times. His dad retired after a couple... I don't blame him!

Tom, Kc, and Roach having lunch at Fishermans Wharf.

Girardhelli square! Yummy chocolate, and Tom and his dad's hotel was right next to this wonderful place! Good thing I was not there I would have eaten all my meals there ha ha.

Tom and I felt bad leaving the girls when Disney on Ice was in Utah so we decided that one of us would take the girls to Disney on Ice while the other did laundry. Well I did not go out of town so Tom took the girls since he was gone a couple of days. Bree was more excited about Disney on Ice than anything else happening that weekend. The girls picked a Prince shirt out for Tom to wear that night it was so funny and cute. They had front row seats in the middle and Bree wants those same seats every year, I don't blame her they were awesome. Sophie was in awe the enitre show, asking Tom "How do they do that", and still talks about it every day. They had so much fun and it was a relaxing night off for me as well. Me and Baby Bronson layed on the coach and watched all my shows!!

Halloween 2009

I know it is a bit late but you have to see these pictures they are seriously so funny of Tom. Oh how he makes me laugh, every year we have a Halloween party and Tom borrows a costume from his aunt Chris and seriously the second Tom puts a costume on he is in character. The girls love it!

Bree is in Kindergarton and the afternoon session has their own little parade for the school and the parents. Bree was so excited to be a tree fairy this year! And Sophie was just happy to be herself a Princess.

Yup that is Tom on his toes. My girls have to get this from somewhere!!

Tom had to show his cousin how to ride this skateboard and I was laughing so hard I think we all were crying. Hooray for Large Ballerina's that can shake their butts!!

I feel a little better Now!!

Why am I posting a picture of a supermodel on my blog because seriously look at her belly button! I have a belly button that likes to stick out at least half of all my pregnancies and here is the list of reasons why it makes me crazy....

1. Comments of how the Turkey is done. Seriously why?
2. Some people feel it is an open invite to poke at my belly and say things like "pop" and then they giggle.
3. "Oh sweetie you must have and outie". No I do not have an outie belly button and seriously so what if I did my girls both have really cute outie belly buttons that are adorable. But I just shake my head and say "yes" with all the sweet happiness I can muster up!
4. Suggestions which is fine from people that I know and have friendships with but total strangers telling me I should tape it down. I would like to see how they would feel with a ginormous belly and then a piece of tape holding your belly button in. I am already really uncomfortable so the idea of wearing another layer or anything across my huge belly makes me want to die. I almost took Tom's head off last night at family dinner for slapping my butt so don't mess with me:)

There are so many more comments that make me think who seriously says crap like this to people when obviously it's not a time that you walk up to a prego person and comment. Usually I just let stuff like this slide but then I saw the picture of one of the most beautiful women in the world in my opinion, not to mention a body that is amazing, and oh my gosh her belly button sticks out. Oh and she does not tape it, and I almost guarantee people do not go up and poke her or ask her if she has an outie. "Heavens No"

I might just have this picture printed on a shirt and wear it every day for the rest of this pregnancy.

On a brighter note Halloween pics to come and you will not be disappointed because I have a video of Tom that will make you laugh so hard!!

The Last Month or so...

It has been a while since my last blog entry and after I loaded all my pics on my computer I realized that some of them are blog worthy!! And this will be a long post beware!

Over UEA we went to St. George for a week with some buddies:) and the girls had a blast. Here are some of the wonderful things we did while on vacation.

  • Bree and Sophie could swim every day in the pool.

  • Boating and swimming at the Lake

  • Sleeping in Bunk Beds made Bree and Sophie's stay super exciting and nice.

  • Sophie and Bree both having fun with dad on wave runners and 4 wheelers at Sand Hollow.

  • Sophie playing an arcade game where you sling a penny at a small jar and if you get it in the jar you win 220 tickets. It was so great to watch the tickets come and come forever, we just wish it was money instead!!

  • Tom rolling a 4 wheeler with Drew on back over his head. He looked awesome when he walked through the door! Oh and it made him pass out but good thing he is not a sissy because he is OK!

  • Shopping for the baby and Christmas.

  • Beating Drew, Koby and sometimes Tom at Mario Kart.

To the Happiest couple on the trip! these first few pictures had us all laughing so hard because they look so cute!

After We came home from St. George Bree made sure we new Halloween was approaching, so we have done a couple of fun spooky things because Bree just loves everything Halloween, which I can't blame her. First I took them to see the witches at Gardner Village and we ran from witch to witch and they both had to have their picture taken with all of them. We stopped at the candy shop and they both purchased some yummy treats to celebrate. Bree was really having a blast and I think you can tell in the pictures that she was in heaven.

Now for the last part of this entry we went to Cornbellys, which the girls seriously loved. We really wanted to pick our own pumpkins but we found out later that they did it last year but were not doing it this year. The girls still loved everything else, especially the spook houses. Tom would run ahead and scare all of us half to death but they were giggling so hard it was hilarious. Bree would say "I don't want to do that again ever", and then ten minutes later she would want to do it again. The hay ride was spooky and Sophie almost died when a snake jumped up out of nowhere. Both girls dressed up and sat in the pumpkin carriage and thought that was great. Bree begged us to do the Larry H Miller maze but Tom refused because supposedly it is supposed to take over an hour. Tom's favorite part was the giant pillows that you could jump on, he was giddy and having a blast bouncing all the kids around him. I was sad that due to the lights all my pictures at the pillows did not turn out. At the end we let the girls pick out a pumpkin and headed home exhausted and happy! Both girls slept with their pumpkins by their beds that night!
