Why am I posting a picture of a supermodel on my blog because seriously look at her belly button! I have a belly button that likes to stick out at least half of all my pregnancies and here is the list of reasons why it makes me crazy....
1. Comments of how the Turkey is done. Seriously why?
2. Some people feel it is an open invite to poke at my belly and say things like "pop" and then they giggle.
3. "Oh sweetie you must have and outie". No I do not have an outie belly button and seriously so what if I did my girls both have really cute outie belly buttons that are adorable. But I just shake my head and say "yes" with all the sweet happiness I can muster up!
4. Suggestions which is fine from people that I know and have friendships with but total strangers telling me I should tape it down. I would like to see how they would feel with a ginormous belly and then a piece of tape holding your belly button in. I am already really uncomfortable so the idea of wearing another layer or anything across my huge belly makes me want to die. I almost took Tom's head off last night at family dinner for slapping my butt so don't mess with me:)
There are so many more comments that make me think who seriously says crap like this to people when obviously it's not a time that you walk up to a prego person and comment. Usually I just let stuff like this slide but then I saw the picture of one of the most beautiful women in the world in my opinion, not to mention a body that is amazing, and oh my gosh her belly button sticks out. Oh and she does not tape it, and I almost guarantee people do not go up and poke her or ask her if she has an outie. "Heavens No"
I might just have this picture printed on a shirt and wear it every day for the rest of this pregnancy.
On a brighter note Halloween pics to come and you will not be disappointed because I have a video of Tom that will make you laugh so hard!!

Me and Dallas had this exact conversation last night about how people just need to keep there mouths shut!!! I love prego bellys!!!Belly button out or not!!! you are getting closer. When is your due date again?
Amanda you are like the cutest pregnant lady ever!! It's not fair! And your cute belly button makes you even that much cuter in my opinion. Screw the people that don't have anything nice to say to the prego ladies!!

I haven't seen your belly this time around but I remember how cute you looked with the girls! People are so obnoxious! I agree with you! I never minded if my friends rubbed my "Buddah" but the moment a stranger tried to touch me I was like are you kidding me! Hang in there!!
ha ha ha! This is so funny! People are so tacky sometimes. Total strangers saying you should tape it down? Good one. NIce work on finding the supermodel. Smart!
Oh, Amanda, I do love you! You make me laugh, and we miss seeing you often. When do swim lessons start again? Or when is there a day off school? I'm sure you look darling, and I'm certain that little guy inside is just as cute. (And just so you know how out of the celebrity world I am--who is that woman? OR is it just because of the "disguise" that I can't tell?)
I LOVE your post...the sweet ventings of a pregnant lady! I know how you feel. The best part is that after I had Owen the belly button didn't go back in right away, and I thought I would have a puffy outie for the rest of my life. Thank goodness it went back:)
